I have a few other items/questions, since i just built a few of these, that you might want to go over in the session.

1. I dont see a way to cluster a elastic drive, as you can seen to attach to 2 instances. This would be required to build a ucm cluster.
2. The ebs instance are able to be turned on and off on demand. Amozon sucks at documenting this but that could be usefull.
3. do you plan on publishing any AIM's

cheers

Dan, I hope it will be interesting!

I did use some of the default stuff, but then we started getting into use JeOS which made our server footprints smaller and faster and we haven't looked back. The unfortunate part is that is a bit more involved. I'll cover using regular OEL 5.x with UCM at Collaborate. Rumor has it that the session will also be recorded and broadcast live for those that can't attend.

Hopefully I will make it down for the session.

I have been playing around with EC2 its seems to be a mystery what all the stuff does until you actually get to use it. SO i think your little session will be of great interest.

Are you starting with the OEL ami for ebs or did you somehow build your own. I cant seem to find any documentation on the OEL base ami I see.
